A P R I L
I'm not one who likes to sit at home, and luckily I recover pretty quickly after delivery, so a week after having Jane, the circus was in town and we decided to take the subway to see the circus elephants walk around Lexington Market. It was pretty awesome and we loved it!
One of the nurses gave this stethoscope to me as we were packing up our stuff at the hospital and told me to give it to G. He enjoyed using it on his sister.
Two weeks after Jane arrived, my parents came out to see their new grand daughter. It was so nice having them around to entertain Garrett and hold Jane. Grandpa took G to our ward Easter egg hunt.
My mom took Garrett to the bounce house. We love coming here during the winter months.
I finally got to check off the cherry blossom festival from my bucket list. I have no desire to go back, it was pure insanity. There were so many people!!
First time nursing again in public...always an adventure.
Melinda also came to visit us and she kept Garrett busy so I could relax for a little bit. We even got to go see Wicked downtown and it was amazing. It's one of my favorite Broadway plays.
Jeff's sister, Stephanie, came after Melinda, and we went to six flags one of the days she was here. It was a little chilly, but we still enjoyed all the rides.
Yep, he's all mine.
I got to facetime my little sister, Kylee, and watch her open up her mission call to Farmington, New Mexico. She was pretty excited. I only wish I could have been there in person.
I love that little face.
You had tons of visitors and were out and about quickly! I'm impressed! But my favorite pic has to be the nursing in public for the first time… too true. It takes some getting used to for both people involved!
